No Bid
Markets are unpredictable. So are your opponents.
A fast card game about currency trading. You are racing to build a Book of 7 Positions, and every card you play can be cancelled by anyone at the table, at any moment, from any seat.
The card the game is named after
Anyone can stop anything
Play when any card is played, even out of turn. Cancel it. Does not use your action. Another NO BID cancels this.
It does not use their turn. It can itself be cancelled by another, and the stack keeps building until somebody runs out of nerve or cards. There are 10 in the deck, so the threat is always live.
Circuit Breaker
Play when any card is played, even out of turn. Cancel it. Does not use your action. This cannot be cancelled.
Only 3 exist in the whole deck.

What it is not
No scoring
You either have the Positions or you do not. Nothing to add up at the end.
No economy
No money, no bidding, no payment. Cards are the only currency.
No hidden totals
Every Book is face up. The tension is that everyone can see who is close.

How a turn goes
Four steps, one action
- Resolve anything that triggers at the start of your turn.
- Draw a card.
- Do exactly one thing.
- Discard down to 7 if you are over.
